The 11th Annual Chesapeake Bay Governor’s School Science Symposium

Presentations will begin at 9:00 am. Each presentation is in a 15-minute time slot with a 5 minute break between presentations. This year 82 presentations are scheduled. Once a presentation has begun, the doors will be closed to that presentation, and no admittance will be allowed. Presentations conclude at 11:50.

Lunch will be available from the vendors in Student Commons.

The “Keynote” this year is a panel discussion on Animals in Research. The panelist will be:

• Daniel J. McGarvey, Ph.D.; Center for Environmental Studies, Virginia Commonwealth University
• Ruth Williams, Ph.D.- Representing Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society and the Animal Welfare League of the Northern Neck
• Jane Wrightson, Northumberland County Commonwealth's Attorney
